I had the pleasure of working with Nicole & Raquel to plan my destination wedding which was scheduled to take place in May 2021. Unfortunately, the pandemic had other plans and we were forced to postpone. Even though the uncertainty of the situation caused me a lot of stress and anxiety, they kept me calm and hopeful that my special day would take place and that it would be just the way I envisioned. Nicole & Raquel were available at any time to take my calls, respond to texts and answer any questions that I had, which made the planning process so much easier.

My husband and I met with Raquel and Nicole back in 2019 with the impression of planning a destination wedding. However, due to Covid 19, we had to make some adjustments. We worked alongside them for three years planning a wedding and throughout the process, they were truly amazing to work with. They provided us with the ability to choose what we loved with their guidance and experience. The process of planning a wedding was enjoyable. We loved every stage of it as it became closer to the date and that was because of Simple El’egance. I truly appreciate how organized they were and their ability to always answer questions at any time.

Furthermore, Nicole and Raquel provided comfort on the day of our wedding as they were well prepared and looked after everything the day of. They made sure everything went as planned and anything that popped up was dealt with without our knowledge. They allowed us to truly enjoy our special day.

You, ladies, are absolutely amazing! The genuine joy and excitement that you both had for us on our day just melted our hearts. You, ladies, came through on every promise and even accommodated my (Alicia's) last-minute requests and surprises for Jahlica. The video my daughter captured of Jahlica receiving her first gift is ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHANG to me.
Thank you for helping us make that happen. Our first touch was fantastic as it allowed us to calm our nerves a bit. You ladies kept us on time and stuck to the schedule. Raquel, you did all of this on your anniversary at that and your selflessness doesn't go unnoticed! Nicole, you made sure I ate in the morning which seems so small but is so big because the gas could have tek me up and caused a headache as my mom says LOL. No, but seriously ladies, we genuinely just want to thank you both for making our day such a special and extraordinary one! It was so beautiful! We are literally going to miss you both but we will stay in touch.

Nicole is amazing and we’re so unbelievably happy she coordinated our wedding. Our planning sessions with her were always fun and she always took the time to really understand how we wanted our big day to go and what type of style we had envisioned.
It was so much easier having Nicole, Donnicia and the Simple El’egance team by our side through out the process. Nicole helped us really hone in on how we wanted our wedding day to feel and what the experience would be like for my partner and I, as well as our guests.
She helped manage communications from over half a dozen different vendors to coordinate details on our behalf, and we could always ask her questions whenever we were on the fence about a decision or unsure of how the whole wedding process worked. She even gave us some great recommendations on vendors like florists and DJ’s to help us round out our team.
She made both of our families feel at ease and managed their concerns. They loved it and we loved it too. Ultimately our wedding day and reception went perfectly! You can tell that Nicole really loves what she does and is willing to go above and beyond even when our wedding was on her own birthday. We had a great experience working with Nicole and would definitely recommend her and her team to other couples.

We found Nicole on a Toronto wedding Facebook group and came highly recommended. Her grace, thoughtfulness, and skill was apparent from our first meeting. We knew immediately she was the one to help us execute the busiest and most important day of our lives.
She was a sympathetic ear and confidant helping us navigate some planning challenges that arose from our venue. Nicole went above and beyond helping us execute and plan our vision and her gentle and calm supportive manner kept our day on time and flexible and agile when minor changes arose. She and Donnicia absolutely went above and beyond for us and it meant the world to both myself and Laura.
As a self diagnosed groomzilla and also an event professional, I understand the level of difficulty and forethought that went into every single detail from decorating the arch for us, creating a stunning table settings and ensuring the venue and other vendors delivered on all accounts and expectations and a million other details. Even having our super busy bridal suite with many people using it having it tidied multiple times so we could relax that night was just something I’d have never thought to even ask for.
Nicole anticipated and handled likely more than we will ever know and for that we are so grateful

I've had the pleasure of calling Nicole Mercury a friend for well over a decade. She's such a dear friend, I asked her to stand in my wedding as a bridesmaid. After years of watching Nicole work with brides to pull off their dream weddings, there was no question that when my wedding day came, I wanted to work with Simple El'egance.
With two weddings to plan, we met with Nicole and her business partner Raquel to bring our vision to life. From the moment we met them, the stress of planning not one but TWO weddings lifted from our shoulders. Nicole and Raquel helped us plan the biggest moment in our lives and we couldn't have imagined doing it all without them. What makes them very special is that they care immensely about their clients and go to great lengths to ensure that their needs are met. Not only did Nicole and Raquel help with the finer details, they made sure we were enjoying the process, that we weren't feeling stressed and communicated with us regularly. We could call on them at any time and they were quick to find solutions to the problems we encountered.
Their experience and professionalism made everything run smoothly. When it came down to the second wedding day, Raquel took the lead as Nicole stood by my side as a bridesmaid. Raquel was absolutely amazing. Not only did she ensure everything flowed on time, but she does everything with the upmost grace. That's just her nature, beautiful on the inside and out. She managed, all of our vendors from decor, florals, to musicians and ensured that our guests were taken care of. She worked with our venue staff and made sure everything ran smoothly. My fiance and I knew we needed a wedding planner due to our hectic schedules and concern that we wouldn't have the time to piece everything together ourselves. We were referred to three different wedding planners. We met each of them and Nicole was the last to be interviewed. There was something was different about Nicole that just stood out.
Her enthusiasm, excitement, creativity and confidence radiated through and in the first five minutes, we knew she was the 'one'. Immediately in the meeting, she began throwing out ideas, learning about our story and brainstormed on the spot how we could tell it on our wedding day.
Nicole, sourced many different big items for our wedding, including the artiste who would be creating my dress. She corresponded with her on my behalf making sure she was going to deliver on time and have me blown away, and blown away I was.
Nicole came with me to important meetings for decor, to determine many fine details that I didn't think of! She worked tirelessly on the stationaries, invites, the thank you gifts to guests, itineraries - EVERYTHING!
Nicole was the sole contact person with our resort in Jamaica where we would be having our destination wedding for 125 people! I didn't have to worry about one thing. She single-handedly, coordinated the entire day, ensuring we met timelines, that guests were happy and most importantly, that my husband and I were happy.
We also had an all-white party days following the wedding at the resort for all of our guests. Nicole creatively incorporated our wedding reception decor for the white party and it looked absolutely stunning! Not only that, I planned a bridesmaid photo-shoot and she directed it too, along with my photographer and the photos came out remarkable!
Her amazing service went beyond the wedding day and we were astounded by it all. Through her passion, amazing and authentic personality, I have bonded with her and now call her friend. She will be a part of our lives for years to come and will hopefully be open to plan our vow renewal in five years! By then, we can easily see that she'll be wedding planning for A-List celebs, but we will cross our fingers till then.
